I´m always trying to find ways to use spirulina in a recipe. The truth is, it tastes awful and is so overwhelming. After a lot of experimenting, I came up with a GREAT smoothie recipe. SO NOURISHING. And tasty too! This smoothie is my go-to quick breakfast. It has so many nutrients and is so satisfying it keeps me energized all day. And when I want to shake things up a bit, I just choose one of the optional add-ins and trick myself into thinking I’m having a different smoothie every day and still get all the incredible nutrients and detoxifying benefits from this recipe anyway.

Good For You Smoothie
Ingredients
- ¾ cup orange juice
- 1 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 cup cilantro
- 1 tsp spirulina
- 1 tsp grated ginger
OPTIONAL ADD-INS (choose just one)
- ½ small frozen banana
- ⅓ cup frozen blueberries
- ¼ cup cucumber
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
